HTC recently launched the Viveport virtual reality app store on Friday in more than 30 countries which previously was available only in China. HTC’ Vive virtual reality headset offers one of the best virtual reality experience not just offers gaming experiences but it gives more than just games.
Viveport will provide VR experiences across art, creativity tools, design, education, fashion, music, sports, travel, video, and more. And will give you immersive experience in new immersive ways.
“Viveport is the place where people can start their journey to virtual reality experiences,” Steiber, President of Viveport said. Also said, “We launched in China earlier this year. We are happy to roll this out globally with some of the best creators in the industry. Our vision is to establish Viveport as the platform for virtual reality.”
60 titles are currently available in Viveport and including a dozen that have been available only in Asia. Some of the titles in the Viveport store are: Everest VR, a new edition of theBlu, Google Spotlight stories’ pearl, The Music Room, Stonehenge VR, Lifeliqe and many more. Steiber said that there are 500 or 600 VR titles available across the industry. About 90 percent of those are games.
HTC is offering a first 48-hour sale during which selected titles will be available for $1. The discounted titles include theBlu, Mars Odyssey, Firebird: La Peri, The music room mini and Stonehenge.
The company told that there is no Osculus VR title in Viveport, users should stay tuned with news on that in the future.
